Gold Rate terms of use
Effective 13 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Gold Rate app, made by Kelmora Labs (the developer name of Bharatbhai Mafatlal Soni, India). By using the app you agree to them. How we treat information is in our privacy policy.
Rates are for information only
- In India the app shows the local rate of your city; elsewhere it shows the international price changed into your money. These are guide rates, not offers to buy or sell.
- Shops add making charges and taxes, and their prices can differ. Always check the price with your jeweller or dealer before you buy or sell.
- Rates are not MCX rates. Forecasts are estimates and can be wrong.
- Nothing in the app is financial, investment or tax advice. Decisions you make with it are your own.
- We work hard to keep rates correct and on time, but we cannot promise that the app is always accurate, complete or available.
Premium and Remove ads
- Premium is a subscription (monthly or yearly) and "Remove ads" is a one-time purchase. Both are sold and billed by Google Play, at the price shown before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions; Premium then stays until the end of the period you paid for.
- Where a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. To restore a purchase on a new phone, use "Restore purchases" in the app with the same Google account.
- A rewarded ad opens one Premium feature for one use, as the app says at the time.
Using the app
- Gold Rate is for people 18 and older.
- The app, its design, words and pictures belong to Kelmora Labs, except the open-source parts listed on our licences page, which keep their own licences. You may use the app for your own personal use.
- Please don't copy, resell or try to break the app or its servers, or read its rate files automatically in large amounts.
- News stories belong to their publishers and open on their own websites.
Our responsibility
The app is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, Kelmora Labs is not responsible for losses that come from using the app or its rates, or from the app being unavailable. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms follow the laws of India.
